Welcome dear readers!
My name is Ashley Katherine Rosenberger – Martin, and I am USOA Mrs. Paradise 2024. You know the saying, “I’m not like anyone else”? Yeah, I am not like your stereotypical titleholder, I am a weird titleholder, and I embrace that. I don’t always say the right thing, I don’t always look like I need to, and I definitely am way too passionate about the onesies that I wear to rehearsal on pageant weekend. Join me on this exploration of the USOA Mrs. Paradise universe, where glittering tiaras meet the realities of a life intertwined with event planning, mental health advocacy, and the vibrant tapestry of the LBGTQ+ community.
There is a large life behind the tiara. As an event planner overseeing 2.1 million square feet of meeting space, my days are a whirlwind of coordinating, planning, and orchestrating seamless experiences. Yet, beneath the poised exterior required for the hospitality industry lies a love for the unconventional. Mrs. Paradise, meet the event planner who thrives in the organized chaos, finding beauty in the details that others may overlook.
Beyond the glitz of pageantry, my heart lies in mental health advocacy. Through my platform, "Take 5 to Talk," I strive to break the stigma surrounding mental health by encouraging open conversations. Join me in spreading the message that it's okay not to be okay and that taking just five minutes to talk can make a world of difference.
I am more than just a face on stage; I am a voice for mental health. As an In Our Own Voice speaker for NAMI, I share my story, struggles, and triumphs, aiming to inspire and enlighten. Together, we dismantle the barriers that silence and shame erect around mental health, fostering a community of understanding and support.
The pursuit of Mrs. Paradise is just one chapter in my life's story. Beyond the pageant world, my dream is to become a published author, weaving narratives that resonate with the human experience. Mrs. Paradise is not just about the crown on my head but the stories within me waiting to be written.
In the kaleidoscope of my life, the vibrant hues of the LBGTQ+ community shine bright. As a proud member, I embrace the diversity and richness that comes with being part of this incredible tapestry. Mrs. Paradise becomes a symbol not just of personal achievement but of embracing every color of the rainbow that makes me who I am.
In the world of USOA Mrs. Paradise, I am not just a contestant; I am a multi-faceted individual, a champion for mental health, an aspiring author, and a proud member of the LBGTQ+ community. Through the glimmers of pageantry, I hope to inspire others to embrace their unconventional selves, to celebrate their quirks, and to recognize that the true Mrs. Paradise is not confined to a stage but is a journey of self-discovery and authenticity.
Join me on this adventure, where tiaras and dreams intermingle, and where the unconventional is not just accepted but celebrated. Paradise is not just a destination; it's a state of mind.
